• Mailing list: your name and email address, if you sign up.
• Purchases and enquiries about works: your name, contact and delivery details, and a record of what you bought or asked about.
• Website use: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, kept in server logs for security.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiries and deal with any purchase. This is needed to take steps you have asked for, or to perform a contract with you.
• To send you news about exhibitions, new work and events, if you have signed up. We rely on your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• To keep records of sales and the provenance of artworks. This is in our legitimate interests, and in some cases the law requires it.
• To keep the website secure and working. This is in our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. Our website and records are hosted by Artlook Software Limited, which acts on our instructions and keeps your information secure. We may also share it with payment and delivery providers when you buy from us, with our accountants, and with authorities where the law requires. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, but only where UK law allows.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and mailing-list details until you ask us to stop contacting you or they are no longer needed. We keep sales records for 6 years for tax purposes, and may keep provenance records for the life of the artwork, because they form part of its history.

We also use Artlook's own site statistics, which set no cookies and do not identify you personally.
